Michael applies his principle of the four cornerstones of wealth management which begins with applying an agnostic approach to analyze your investment strategy, liabilities, asset protection and legacy planning. He then crafts a custom strategy based on your unique goals and objectives, implements the agreed upon plan and review schedule.
Background and Experience
For more than 30 years Michael has been involved in a wide variety of civic and volunteer organizations both locally and state – wide. His passion to make a difference in his community started in the late 80’s. He was honored to hold several elected positions, including: Council Member and Vice Mayor City of Port Richey (1987 – 1991), Mayor City of Port Richey (1991 – 1993) and County Commissioner and Vice Chair Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (2006 – 2010)
In 2014, he was appointed by the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives to serve on the State of Florida Commission on Ethics. Over the years Michael has also served on several committees in his community including, Pasco County Charter Advisory Committee, Chairman; Pasco Economic Development Council, Task Force Chairman; Pasco Safety Town, Founding Member, Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce, Founding Chairman of the Board; Rotary Club of Trinity, Member; Leadership Pasco Class of 2015, Class President, and Florida Local Government Investment Trust, Trustee-Chairman responsible for overseeing more than $1 billion of public money.
Michael is a graduate of Pinellas Vocational Technical Institute and the University of South Florida Financial Planner Program. In 2004 he earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation (CFP®).
Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® (with plaque design) and CFP® (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.

Originally from Springfield, IL, Michael’s family moved to Pasco County when he was six. Michael’s greatest love in life is his wife Abbey who he married in 1993. She is a specialty pharmaceutical representative and works across Florida. They share their New Port Richey home with two rambunctious dogs Logan & Carter.
In his spare time, you can find Michael fishing, boating, travel, and entertaining. His true passion, however, is community activism. Currently, he is actively involved in several organizations including the Rotary Club of Holiday, and Friends of Animal Services. While also serving on the Pasco County Mosquito Control District Board.
